Meet Nicole
A Local Voice. A Lifelong Servant. A Heart for Our Schools.
From band mom to Scout leader to small business owner, I’ve spent my life serving the students and families of our district. I’m Nicole Bradshaw—and I’m running for School Board to keep showing up, this time in a new way.
Raised Here. Educated Here. Leading from Within.
I’m a graduate of Los Lunas Schools, and now I’m raising a son who walks the same hallways I once did. Our family has deep roots in this district—across classrooms, music programs, Scout meetings, and Sunday mornings.
I’ve served as a Sunday school teacher, a choir member, a camp counselor, a band volunteer, a Scout leader, and more. Through every chapter, one thing has stayed the same: I believe in showing up for the people and places that shape us.
Leadership Built on Service, Not Status
I was six years old when I joined Girl Scouts—and I stayed involved for over two decades. I started my first troop at 13, and continued serving as a camp counselor, council trainer, event planner, service unit leader, and assistant camp director. I even earned my Gold Award by collecting and donating 560 books to every elementary school in our district.
That spirit of service didn’t end with Scouts. I’ve served in my church as a Sunday school teacher, chorister, youth leader, and activity planner. I’ve volunteered with my son’s Cub Scout Pack, Boy Scout Troop, and high school band—most recently as Uniform Co-Chair and Transportation Chair for the Band Boosters.
I don’t step into leadership for attention. I do it because I care—and I want to help.
Why I’m Running
I didn’t expect to run for School Board. But after a painful experience in a parent volunteer group, I saw firsthand how quickly trust can break down—and how hard it is to speak up when systems protect power instead of people.
I’m not running against anyone. I’m running for something better.
Better communication. Healthier leadership. Real collaboration between teachers, parents, students, and administrators. I believe in telling the truth, asking hard questions with grace, and creating a school culture we can all be proud of.
What I Bring to the Table
I’ve studied education. I’ve worked inside our school district. I’ve built a business from scratch. I’ve led youth through faith-based and community programs. And through it all, I’ve learned how to organize, listen, and lead with both clarity and care.
I’m not a politician. I’m a parent. A neighbor. A woman of faith. And a lifelong advocate for people-first leadership.
Here’s a little more about my background:

Three Schools. Strong Roots. One Future.
Whether you're raising a Tiger, a Jaguar, or a Centurion—you deserve leadership that listens.
I'm here to represent all three towns in District 1—Los Lunas, Bosque Farms, and Peralta—with honesty, consistency, and care.
This isn’t about politics.
It’s about people.
It’s about presence.
It’s about showing up.
And I’m ready to serve.
